In its 34th year, the Anchor Bay Triathlon continues to be one of the premier racing events in the Macomb and Saint Clair County area, drawing approximately 300 racers and their spectators to the New Baltimore area. The sprint triathlon includes a half-mile swim, an 11 mile bike, and a 3 mile run. The race is great for athletes of all abilities, even allowing people to participate in relay teams. We have several participants each year that experience their first triathlon with our race. We also see many seasoned triathletes who participate in our race as training for a full triathlon.

Many participants regard the race as one of the safest races that they participate in each year. This is very important to us, as safety, fun, and quality competition are the three top priorities of this event. We are very proud of this longstanding tradition of recreation, health, and wellness in the Anchor Bay community.
