Welcome to the 33rd Annual Anchor Bay Triathlon!

Are you or somebody you know looking for a great race in the Anchor Bay area? The Anchor Bay Triathlon is the perfect short triathlon for those competitive racers and new racers alike. Start off with a 1/2 mile swim in Lake St. Clair followed by an 11 mile bike around New Baltimore, finished by a 3 mile run.

The race will consist of a 1/2 mile swim, 11 mile Bike, 3 mile run.

Wave Starts

The swim will consist of two wave starts. The wave assignment will be based on your expected swim time indicated during registration. Wave one will be for those swimming in a time of 22:00 or less, wave two for those swimming in a time greater than 22:00. All relays will begin in wave two.

FOR YOUR SAFETY: The swim portion will have a maximum time limit of 40:00 minutes before the participant is pulled from the water.

Registration Fees

  • Early Bird March 1-April 30, 2018: $60.00 Individual, $95 Relay Team
  • Regular May 1-June 30, 2018: $70.00 Individual, $105 Relay Team
  • Late July1-July 6, 2018: $80.00 Individual, $115 Relay Team
  • Each participant will receive a race shirt.


Participation medals for every finishing participant.

Awards will go to the overall male and female and the top three male and female individual finishers in age groups 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & up. An award will be given to the top relay team.

Timing & Results

Timing & Results will be provided by Newton Timing & Race Services using ChronoTrack Systems. Results will be posted continuously during the event for review. Complete results will be posted online promptly after the event. Please review the instructions on the proper way to wear your timing chip.
